Welcome to Brame Middle School!

To the entire Brame Community,

It is my honor to welcome all of you to the 2024-2025 school year as your new principal at the Swamp. I am a 2003 graduate of LCU (Louisiana Christian University) where I earned a degree in Physical Science. I was hired by Principal Wally Fall as a teacher in October of 2003. Throughout my 11 years at Brame, I taught PE, 7th grade social studies, and earned my masters in teaching in 2010.

I was appointed acting assistant principal at Brame in 2013 and accepted the assistant principal’s position over discipline at Alexandria Senior High the following year. I will be forever grateful to Alexandria Senior High and the community for the trust, relationships, and experience that allowed me to grow as an administrator these past nine years.

My mission is to engage our stakeholders to ensure the best learning experience for our entire school and community. Together we will establish a culture of acceptance, accountability, individual growth, and respect.

As principal of Brame, I will also help build success in athletics, the arts, and most importantly, academics. We will strive for excellence and provide the best support for each and every student, teacher, and staff member. Together, we will flourish on our campus to build a better community. We have an amazing faculty ready and prepared to provide you with opportunities to not only grow as a student, but develop future leaders.

There are so many great things to be excited about this year such as: the addition of a new hallway, multipurpose building, and numerous renovations around campus. These upcoming projects will help continue Brame’s deep tradition of being “The Place to Be”. These new additions are necessary for supporting student learning and for creating a safe and secure campus. I am honored and proud to help serve our students, faculty, and staff and lead them to be their very best!

With gratitude,

Sons Pathoumthong
